What is art to you?

What do you consider art, and what form moves you?

My Favorite of all time, I actually have this print framed, I just don't have room to hang it.

That is a lovely print, TnPartsGuy! Creative expression through art is therapeutic and relaxing. I find that when I am drawing I feel more at peace with myself. When my work is going well, I am filled with a sense of satisfaction and achievement. Art allows me to use my creativity in a constructive way that helps me build my confidence and strengthens me as a person. When viewing other people's art, I think works that convey a strong emotion or make a bold statement move me most. I don't have to necessarily "like" the piece; but as long as it makes me ask myself, "what was the artist thinking when he/she did this?," then that artist has done his/her job well.
