100 Songs?

Post  TnPartsGuy on Thu Aug 21, 2008 2:03 pm

The premise of the thing is you get an new iPod, and a gift card for 100 songs. You can't ever add to it, these are YOUR 100 songs.

http://www.johnsandford.org/prey16x1.html

I can't do it. I can come up with at least 50 artists that I would need their complete anthologies (ok, I could probably ditch several songs per CD, but most of them are ones I have several favorite songs by that artist.)

SO, here's my challange to you. EITHER 100 Songs, OR 25 Albums, OR 20 Artists.

Let's see what you got.

Re: 100 Songs?

Post  Anne_H on Thu Aug 21, 2008 9:22 pm

I have been pondering this one...I believe I would go with 100 songs. I only have a couple of artists that I like their work enough to have entire albums and then there are always some of the songs I don't care for.

Now, if I have to list my 100 songs, I already know for certain of some I couldn't do without. So here are a few that immediately come to mind:

1 & 2. Take it Easy (the version by the Eagles and the version by Travis Tritt)
3. Take it to the Limit (the Eagles)
4. Piece of my Heart (Janis Joplin)
5. One Night Stand (Janis Joplin)
6. A Woman Left Lonely (Janis Joplin)
7. Me and Bobby McGee (Janis Joplin)
8. Suspicious Minds (Elvis)
9. Imagine (John Lennon)
10. The Weight (The Band)
11. I Can See Clearly Now (Johnny Nash)
12. Life by the Drop (Stevie Ray Vaughn)
13. Carolina in my Mind (James Taylor)
14. How Do You Like Me Now? (Toby Keith)
15. Something by the Doors, just can't settle on a couple.
16. Something by Journey, same problem as in #15
17. Little Wing (Stevie Ray Vaughn)
18. Every Time I Look at You (Il Divo)
19. The Man You Love (Il Divo)
20. Unchained Melody (Senza Catene) (Il Divo)

This is a lot harder than I thought...you want to be very careful with your selections!!! Oh yeah, I reserve the right to change anything I list here until I lock it into my IPod!!! LOL

This is cool, thanks TN for putting this up, I am having a lot of fun trying to put together my list!!!
Smile

Ok so can you change out the songs? You say you can't have more than 100 but can I change that 100?
