I remember when Madison Square was THE only shopping center on that side of town, and I can remeber going shopping downtown around Christmas. I remeber being inside Harvey's and seeing the nativity scene items stored on a shelf that ran around the walls upstairs. ...

My department has also been in the black for 5 yrs. I've come close to red ink a few times, but all in all, I play it really tight here. Anyone else facing ...

Ours went good......Me, Rich, Jilly, Angela, Jen, Ryan, & Joey all went swimming / fishing at Barren River on Saturday. We had fun. Poor Ryan was being attacked by bees. He barely had gotten to the water and he stepped on a bee. {Speaking of Ryan how is your foot?} But after swimming Angela, Jen, Ryan, & Joey went out. We would have joined them but didn't have a sitter. So we had to sit this one out, but I was glad they had good time up here in BG.

A Little About Me...

Feel free to ask me anything I don't cover here.

Nashville Native, have only lived outside the Nashville Metro area for 2 yrs of my life, and that 2 yrs was spent in Jackson, TN.

I work as a parts manager at a car dealership, been at the same place for almost 17 yrs now. Before that I was a repairman at an electronics store working on TV's and such, and microwaves ovens (This was when you still fixed such items, before they became throw-away items.) In between those ...

But, you know, I'm a little mad about it. If you go to the site now, it redirects you to MetroMojo, the parent company. I have to laugh, because their tagline reads "Proven Social Technology". Yeah, ask the 12 cities that lost their Mojo site this year how 'Proven' they feel.

What Would Jesus Do? (After Church on Sunday)

I can tell you what I think.

He wouldn't go to a resturant, and treat his waiter or waitress like they were slaves. He would say 'thank you' and 'please', and tips at LEAST 20%. He wouldn't let his screaming kids make a mess and leave it. He would ask to speak to a manager ONLY if it was 110% neccessary, and he would make SURE that manager knew it was not the server's fault the kitchen screwed up. In other words, he'd be a nice human, and not act like he didn't hear a word of the sermon ...

How important is CarFax?

Just a little info for you future car buyers. CarFax is NOT the end-all be-all. Sometimes it takes up to 6 months for information to get to CarFax, by that time the car has been repaired and you own it. A lot of smaller insurance companies don't share info with the CarFax people, and smaller wrecks don't get reported at all. My very best used car buying advice I can pass on to you is this; either take the car to an independant garage that you trust, or take along a knowledgable person when buying ...

Use anywhere you'd use a laptop, but don't want the hassle and the weight. This one is been very lightly used.

This is NOT a Cellphone. It CAN pair with your bluetooth phone to surf the net, or use your wireless network, or use hotspots all over town. Perfect for the person on the go that needs to access Email, but can't haul around a laptop.

I have an idea (or 6). #1, never re-elect ANYONE. Let them serve once, then shoot them in the head.

#2. If you're holding an elected office, you MAY NOT run for any other office. IE, if your mayor of Nashville, you may not run for governor, or if your a congressman, you can't run for president. UNLESS you are willing to foot the bill for the special election to replace you.

#3. If you're holding public office, you cannot have ANY stocks, bonds or any other holdings. Put it in a regular ...
