Saison - Saison is a collaboration with local homebrewer Mark Forrester, brewed here for the Great American Beer Festival's Pro-Am competition. Mark was awarded a first place for his recipe in Memphis and a Best of Show in Atlanta. French for "season", this unfiltered farmhouse ale uses Belgian Pilsner malt, two kinds of wheat, as well as unmalted spelt, an ancient relative of wheat. A special Belgian yeast adds spiciness, complexity, and a refreshing tartness. O.G. 1.057 IBUs 30
